The series of jubilee events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Charles Aznavour concluded at UNESCO headquarters
The final jubilee event dedicated to Charles Aznavour's 100th anniversary took place at UNESCO headquarters. The Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra (artistic director and principal conductor Eduard Topchyan) and soloists Inga Arshakyan, Gor Sujyan, and Gurgen Baveyan performed Charles Aznavour's songs. Singer Jules Grison (vocals) and Nobuyuki Nakajima (pianist) also participated in the concert as invited musicians.

The concert program was titled "Une vie d'Amour." The great chansonnier's favorite, popular songs were performed.

The event was welcomed by Daniel Danielyan, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia; Aram Hakobyan, the Head of the Republic of Armenia's Permanent Representation to UNESCO; Xing Qu, the Deputy Director-General of UNESCO; and Isabelle Devigne, the President of the Francophone Ambassadors of UNESCO.

The concert was attended by UNESCO Deputy Director-General for Culture Ernesto Ottone, Deputy Director-General for Education Stefania Giannini, ambassadors accredited to UNESCO, guests, French senators, the Deputy Mayor of Paris, the Mayor of Valence, representatives of state and local government institutions, and representatives of the Armenian community.
