RA Government allocates 20 million AMD for Ohan Durian's monument
By the decision of the RA government, 20 million AMD were allocated from the reserve fund of the state budget to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the RA for the preparation and installation of the statue of the People's Artist of the Armenian USSR, conductor Ohan Durian.
According to the written wish of Durian's widow, the creation of the Maestro's statue is entrusted to the sculptor Getik Baghdasaryan, which was approved by the Jubilee Committee.
The sketch and image of the monument were presented at the session of the Yerevan Council of Elders.
