Gyumri Orchestra's upcoming concert is dedicated to the memory of Hasmik Kirakosyan
On July 10, at 7:00 p.m. Gyumri State Symphony Orchestra (artistic director and conductor: Yervand Varosyan) will perform at Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall. The concert is dedicated to the memory of the orchestra co-founder Hasmik Kirakosyan.
The works of Armenian composers Alexander Spendiaryan, Grigor Yeghiazaryan, Arno Babajanyan will be performed during the evening.
Gyumri State Symphony Orchestra received state status in 1993. In different years the orchestra was conducted by Tomik Sargsyan, Tatul Yeghiazaryan, Sergey Matsoyan, Robert Mlkeyan, Samvel Adamyan. During these years, laureates of many international competitions performed with the orchestra. The Gyumri State Symphony Orchestra performed in Armenia and abroad, contributing to the spread and preservation of classical music.
