Warning, exhortation, request by Hasmik Papian
RA people's artist, opera singer Hasmik Papyan wrote on her Facebook page:

"Warning, exhortation, request

My friendship with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia is decades old. For years I have performed in this hall as a soloist. After my permanent return to Armenia, I am often in my favorite hall as a listener.

For two years, in interviews, and on various occasions, I have expressed my deep concern about the unacceptable behavior of different photographers, video and recording operators, as well as controllers during the concerts, but unfortunately, nothing has changed.

During the concert, different people are constantly coming in and out (it's no secret that the doors creak terribly), and the controllers are moving their plastic bags from place to place, answering phone calls. You barely adjust to the noisy "presence" of the photographer next to you, when shortly after he appears nimbly on the stage, proudly continuing to clatter his camera, the sound of which becomes audible until the parterre.

Believe me, it is not possible to meet such a phenomenon in any country of the world, in the halls of any rural town. I must say that young people are in love with music and artwork as controllers in many famous concert halls, for whom, apart from work, it is a wonderful opportunity to be present at exceptional concerts.

No matter what kind of "superstar" appears on the stage, the result is the same: every time I return home with a strong headache, deeply disappointed and regretting the efforts and work of those people, thanks to which famous musicians-performers still continue to visit Armenia.

If we do not take this problem seriously and try to find solutions to return the respectful attitude towards the audience, then we will remain at the same provincial level, where many musical performers will still visit our country due to the past memories of Armenia and the Armenian audience.

Those people who will consider my compassionate observation unnecessary or irrelevant will be among the visitors to the philharmonic hall, for whom only the form is essential, not the content. Having lived in Armenia for the last two years, believe me, I don't miss anything from the opportunities I had in Europe, I don't miss anything, except the pleasure of visiting famous concert halls.

I earnestly request the relevant authorities and the leadership of the Philharmonic to pay attention to this very important issue that ensures the country's ranking.

I am willing to participate in proposals to find joint solutions, if necessary".
