International Museum Day: The program of the Komitas Museum-Institute

This year, the International Museum Day is celebrated in a state of emergency, and all the museums are presented exceptionally on the online platform.
ANM presents the program of Komitas Museum-Institute.
12:00 a.m. - "One day at the Komitas Museum-Institute". An employee of the museum will present how the tours are organized. In this way, you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with the museum and exhibits online, as well as the key skills of the profession of a guide.
2:00 p.m. - "My first visit to Komitas Museum-Institute". essay contest. Write down how you came to the museum, what impressed you. The competition will last for about a month. Send the essays to the museum's e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. The best works will be posted on the museum's Facebook page.
5:00 p.m. - "Komitas and Cultural Diversity". online lecture. Tatik Shakhkulyan, Head of the Scientific Department of the Komitas Museum-Institute, will give a lecture on this topic.
8:00 p.m. - "Lullabies and not only": online concert. Last month, the lullabies studied together on the museum's Facebook page will be summed up through an online concert with the participation of soprano Hasmik Baghdasaryan and pianist Marina Vardanyan.
9:00 p.m.- Armenian premiere of the "In the Shadow of Ararat" by Joseph Bohigian, American-born composer and intern of the Komitas Museum-Institute. The work is dedicated to the Centennial of Armenian Genocide and performed by the Fresno State New Music Ensemble.
