Jazzical Komitas: Joel A. Martin's solo concert to be held in Yerevan
On June 23, at 7:30 pm Komitas Chamber Music Hall will host the internationally renowned musician, winner of numerous competitions, classical pianist and jazz composer Joel A. Martin's solo concert.
Joel A. Martin's Jazz arrangements of works by Komitas and other Armenian composers, as well as Armenian folk songs, will be performed.
Joel A. Martin's "Jazzical Komitas-Passion of Fire" album is on track to be nominated for a Grammy Award for Best World Music in 2022-2023. The musician is a big fan of Komitas music.
