The director of the Komitas Museum-Institute was awarded the medal of ESCS
For his significant contribution to the field of culture, impeccable and long-term work activity, RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, today awarded the Komitas Museum-Institute Director Nikolay Kostandyan, who is finishing his work in that position, with the medal of the National Academy of Sciences.
Alfred Kocharyan, the deputy minister of ESCS, and Astghik Marabyan, the head of the ESCS cultural heritage department, attended the meeting.
The Minister of ESCS thanked for his cooperation and dedication, emphasizing that the Komitas Museum-Institute is one of the most active and efficiently working institutions.
"This commemorative medal is a symbolic appreciation of your work and thanks for joint work and effective activity. The museum was founded and started its activities under your leadership, and during these years you managed to form a very professional team in the museum, which today is one of our most visible cultural and research institutions. The museum's exhibitions, educational programs, and international representation testify to great and high-quality work. Many museum programs have received international recognition, contributing to the popularization and visibility of our country. It is also important that the component of research work in the exhibitions is obvious and visible, which is one of the key directions of the museum's activity," noted Zhanna Andreasyan and expressed hope that the professional ties between Nikolay Kostandyan and the Komitas Museum-Institute will continue, regardless of future activities.
