Legendary Valery Gergiev to perform in Yerevan
The 100th anniversary of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, which is being celebrated with the support of the Ministry of ESCS, will be celebrated with an exclusive concert by the world-famous Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra, conducted by legendary conductor Valery Gergiev. The next day, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia will perform again after 37 years under the direction of Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Valery Gergiev.

These high-class concerts, typical of the world's musical capitals, will take place at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. On October 1, the Mariinsky Theater Symphony Orchestra will perform a concert with a unique program: Harutyunyan's "Festive Overture", Shostakovich's Violin Concerto No. 1 performed by virtuoso violinist Pavel Milyukov, and Mahler's Symphony No. 4 with the participation of soprano Anna Denisova.

On October 2, the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia will perform a brilliant program, performing Rimsky-Korsakov’s “Scheherazade” symphonic suite, Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” and Ravel’s “Bolero”.
