Margarit Sargsyan's memories about Valeri Harutyunyan

Margarit Sargsyan's memories about Valeri Harutyunyan
The voice of RA Honored Artist, YKSC professor Valeri Harutyunyan sounded for 40 years: powerful, beautiful. He sang until the end with deep, warm, bright top notes so that many young people would envy him. In the classroom and in life he was the same-bright and strong. He set up his own school. He was an extremely demanding teacher but he could lose his sleep if any of his students hadn't succeeded. His students were his big family, for whom he was beholden to everybody. V. Harutyunyan lived a hard life, knowing deeply about stage life laws and obstacles, sought to pass on to his students not only the knowledge gained from life, but to sow the willpower, the desire to fight that would allow you to become an actor...

He was an individual who left his indelible mark on students, friends, and listeners' hearts… Last three years he was teaching at home and I am sure his students before the exam, competition, or performance, were visiting him and ask to pray for them. I worked with him in 1999 and always felt big responsibility being with him. V. Harutyunyan was a renowned singer, beloved person, famous teacher, whose school was attended by more than a hundred singers, many of whom became laureates of prestigious competitions and performed in many concert halls.

I have a lot of memories... For me, Valeri Harutyunyan was a planet that I can't forget and I am glad that we have an opportunity to enjoy the concert and pay tribute to him.
