Projects to ensure the normal functioning of cultural life during the pandemic were discussed
The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia Vahram Dumanyan received the Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra Eduard Topchjan. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of ESCS Arayik Khzmalyan and the Director of ANPO and Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall Victor Mnatsakanyan.
The Minister praised the activity and professionalism of the ANPO, emphasizing that the orchestra has always presented Armenia and our culture on a high level, and has been able to continue its activities during the Covid-19 pandemic having concerts and organizing online projects.
"The Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, for sure, is the face of our country and our people. We will do our best for the music life of our country to be at the highest level, as it has been, is, and I am sure it will be," said Minister Vahram Dumanyan.
During the meeting, upcoming projects of the orchestra, innovative creative programs, including the events dedicated to Arno Babajanyan's 100th anniversary were discussed. The sides also discussed issues during the pandemic to ensure the normal functioning of cultural life.
