“Roof is Armenia”. The culture of national minorities will be presented in Aparan
On October 5, the Aparan Cultural Center will host the annual cultural event “Roof is Armenia,” dedicated to the national minorities of Armenia.
This year, the event will have two main directions: culture and cuisine.
The Assyrian, Jewish, Greek, Yezidi, German, Russian, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Georgian, Kurdish and Polish communities of Armenia will participate in the event. To present the cultural heritage of national minorities, a concert will be held in the Aparan Cultural Center.
Then, the cultural program will be followed by a demonstration of national cuisines: in a specially designed gastrozone, community representatives will treat those present to both pre-prepared and locally prepared traditional dishes, also presenting their recipes and cooking methods.
The project is implemented by the State Philharmonia of Armenia with the support of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and with the participation of 11 communities of national minorities.
