Vache Sharafyan's "Gravity" Ballet to be based on "Ancient Gods" by Levon Shant
The world premiere of the ballet in two acts "Gravity" by Vache Sharafyan will take place at the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet on December 1 and 2.

The musical director and conductor of the performance is Karen Durgaryan, the Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, the author of the libretto and the artistic idea is Narine Grigoryan, the Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, the choreographer is Ara Asaturyan, the stage and costume designer is Victoria Riedo-Hovhannisyan.

The play is based on "Ancient Gods" by Levon Shant. The hieromonk saves the girl who fell into the water from the boat. The monk hugging the woman can't forget the wet body, the fight with the sea, the elements of nature... Nature attracts him. Hieromonk faces a dilemma: an ascetic life or an insatiable desire to live a whole life... The Congregation wants to dissuade him from a sinful step. "...the member that will tempt you, cut it off and throw it out..." And nature calls... The abbot stifles his heart's desire with the power of his mind and will and decides to destroy the newly created church and build a new one... Mind or spirit, light or darkness, in this choice, a person often falls to extremes: not seeing that God's created nature is the very unity of opposites...
