The Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra Launches the 2025-2026 Concert Season with New Ideas
A press conference was held at the Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra Library, during which the new 2025-2026 concert season programs, technical and property renovation works, the Philharmonic Orchestra’s new brand, as well as the work done and upcoming projects were presented.

The speakers at the press conference were Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Daniel Danielyan; Director of the Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra, Artyom Naghdyan; virtuoso percussionist Isaias Alves (Brazil); and trombonist and vocalist, Graham Sattler (Australia).

According to Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Daniel Danielyan, the Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra operates with a new rhythm every year, keeping pace with the musical trends emerging in the world.

“The heart of the building beats in harmony with the world, which is conditioned by the entire repertoire work and discoveries that the State Philharmonic offers to the audience and tourists, revealing numerous artists to the public,” said Daniel Danielyan.

In this context, he emphasized the important role of the state in supporting the building and organizing concerts as appropriate.

“The RA government spares no effort to invest so that this building is stable and comfortable for the audience, artists and all guests,” said the Deputy Minister of Culture, Arts and Sports, emphasizing the combination of traditions and modernity of the historical building.

With the support of the Ministry, 83 million AMD was provided for the replacement of the chairs in the hall, a Steinway & Sons concert grand piano was purchased with an investment of 86 million AMD, lighting and sound equipment were supplemented with modern equipment, and a number of other innovations were made. All this, according to the Deputy Minister, contributes to increasing the competitiveness of the institution and provides greater opportunities to map the hall on global platforms.
