Komitas Library։ A new exposition
On September 24, the Komitas Museum-Institute opened the "Komitas Library. Literature in European Languages "exhibition. The Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Victorin, Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ara Khzmalyan, Ambassadors of EU member states made welcoming statements during the opening.
The purpose of the exhibition is to present the complete library of Komitas kept in various archives, as well as the lost part of the Vardapet restoration library based on documents. Komitas library consists of Armenian, Russian, German, Greek, French, Italian and Portuguese works on the history of music, as well as music dictionaries, magazines published by the International Music Society.
The project is implemented by the Komitas Museum-Institute, the European Union Delegation to Armenia and the UNIK Armenia cluster. The curator of the exposition is Marine Haroyan.
