The postage stamp, nominally worth 320 AMD, depicts Gohar Gasparyan, a prominent Armenian opera singer, lyric coloratura soprano, and People's Artist of the Armenian SSR and the USSR (1924-2007).
The postage stamp depicts “GOHAR GASPARYAN” and “Armenian singer” inscriptions in Armenian and English.
The postage stamp was canceled by the First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Mantashyan, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia, Daniel Danielyan, the Chief Executive Officer of “Haypost” CJSC, Shushan Aleksanyan, the daughter of Gohar Gasparyan Seda Gasparyan, the Director of the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Alexander Spendiaryan, Karen Durgaryan, and the President of the Philatelists’ Armenian Association, Hovik Musayelyan.
