Armen Hyusnunts quintet aims to represent the music of Armenian composers
Armen Hyusnunts quintet will have its first concert at the hall of the Union of Architects of Armenia on May 25, at 19:00. The musicians of the quintet are Armen Hyusnunts (saxophone), Arthur Soghoyan (guitar), Khachatur Savzyan (bass), Arman Peshtmaljyan (keyboards) and Arman Mnatsakanyan (percussion).
The program includes jazz compositions and arrangements by Armen Donelyan, Davit Azaryan, Artashes Kartalyan, Khachik Sahakyan, Vardan Hovsepyan, and other composers.
The quintet aims to represent the jazz works of Armenian composers and to perform a regularly updated program.
