Stamp dedicated to the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven put into circulation
A souvenir sheet with one stamp dedicated to the theme “250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven” has been put into circulation by Haypost. Designer: David Dovlatyan.
The postage stamp of the souvenir sheet depicts the etching “Beethoven” of the Austro-Hungarian painter Alois Kolb dedicated to the 9th symphony of Ludwig van Beethoven.
The souvenir sheet depicts the drawings “Beethoven on a walk” of the Austrian sculptor Joseph Daniel Boehm as well as the house where Beethoven lived.
