Russian virtuoso Ilya Ramlav to perform in Yerevan
Virtuoso pianist Ilya Ramlav will give a concert in Armenia. The piano recital will be held on April 30, at 7 p.m. in the Arno Babajanyan Concert Hall. The program includes works by Beethoven, Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Liszt.
Ilya Ramlav, the virtuoso concert pianist, captured the world's attention after winning the prestigious 2018 All-Russian Music Competition. Since then, his musical journey has known no bounds, with captivating performances in New York, Sao Paulo, Paris, and Buenos Aires. Hailed as a pianist of “refined seriousness,” Ilya Ramlav appears frequently in solo and chamber recitals throughout the continents. Since his debut concert as a child in Moscow, he has dedicated his life to the communication of joy and light through music. Educationally, Ilya's journey has taken him from the Moscow State P.I. Tchaikovsky Conservatory (class of Professor Andrei Diev) for his BA to the University of Arts in Bern (class of Professor Tomasz Herbut and Victoria Postnikova), Switzerland for his MA, and finally to The New School Mannes College of Music in class of Professor Jerome Rose for his PSD in New York City. Ilya resides in Manhattan, New York City.
