Soprano Lilit Davtyan  to represent Armenia at Operalia
Armenian soprano Lilit Davtyan will represent her country at Placido Domingo's Operalia World Opera Competition. The 2024 edition of Operalia will be held in Mumbai, India from September 15 to September 21 at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA). 

 After studies at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory’s Opera Studio, Lilit Davtyan continued her training as a member of the young artist program of the Большой театр России / Bolshoi Theatre of Russia (2021-23) and the young artist program of the Salzburger Festspiele | Salzburg Festival (2023). In 2023, she joined the ensemble of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where her roles include Pamina in Die Zauberflöte, Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro, Marzellina in Fidelio, Corinna in Rossini’s Il viaggio a Reims, the Shepherd in Tannhäuser, Suor Genovieffa in Suor Angelica and Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi. In the summer of 2024, she was a Resident Artist at the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence.
