Armenian State Philharmonia selected as a grant recipient of the EU program
Armenian State Philharmonia has been selected as a grant recipient of the European Union’s LIVEMX program. With this grant, the State Philharmonic of Armenia will implement the project “RESONANCE: Transforming the Concept of Live Music Concerts and Concert Hall Service in Armenia,” which marks a significant step in attracting new professionals, introducing modern standards, and training technical staff in the field of live music in Armenia.
The project aims to promote collaboration between Armenian and European specialists, introduce sustainable methods, and strengthen the professional skills of technical staff.
The project will run for six months, from July 2025 to January 2026.
It will focus on the “Arno Babajanyan” Concert Hall, which will function as a unique “workshop” for professional training and innovation.
Key activities include developing skills in sound technology, lighting design, audience engagement, and concert hall management;
exchanging experiences with European experts and Armenian specialists;
hosting music residencies and show programs that foster joint creation and boost international recognition;
introducing sustainable practices, including environmentally friendly events and green technologies;
digitizing content to create an open-access digital educational platform.
