Physical possibilities are worth nothing without a soaring soul
On August 12th, the 3rd annual international festival of the national music of people with special needs, “Chakhruk”, will take place in the city of Gyumri, Shirak province, in the “Vardanants” square.
Children with special needs from abroad, living in the provinces of the Republic of Armenia, and students with special needs from orphanages, care, and cultural centers will take part in the festival.
The special guests of the festival are the founders of the “Nali” free school in France, husband and wife musician Kamil Chalayev and choreographer Sabine Jamet, as well as the Gyumri State Orchestra of Folk Instruments, Founders of “Chakhruk”. Musicians Anna and Anahit Mkhitaryans and composer, pianist Vardan Harutyunyan will perform at the festival with their music.
The main partner of the festival is the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
The message of the festival is: “Physical possibilities are worth nothing without a soaring soul”.
