"Crossroads: Contemporary music days in Armenia" program has announced
This year "Crossroads: Contemporary music days in Armenia" international festival will be held on April 3-26 with the support of the Ministry of ESCS.
During the festival, 7 concerts will be performed at "Arno Babajanyan" concert hall, Komitas Museum-Institute, Gafesjian Art Center, AGBU Armenia hall, and Gyumri Technological Center hall. Tickets for the concerts are available at Wylling.com.
Pianist and composer Yves Egoyan (Canada), pianists Hayk Melikyan (Armenia) and Laurence Mkhitaryan (Belgium), the Ensemble Asonance(Armenia) and students of the Yerevan State Conservatory will perform at the festival. Masterclasses and seminars are also planned within the festival, through which students of the conservatory and other musical institutions develop their worldview, abilities to analyze music, and the secrets of perception. There will be a master class by composer Yuri Kasparov (Russian Federation) and a seminar with the participation of musicologist and sound theorist Gashia Uzunyan (United Kingdom).
