Komitas Quartet's Italian tours starts on May 1
The Komitas National Quartet's tours in Italy have begun on May 1 and will continue until May 8.
It is worth noting that this year commemorates the 155th anniversary of Komitas Vardapet's birth as well as the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Komitas-named national quartet.
The Komitas National Quartet performed on May 1 at the Altinate Cultural Center in Padua and on May 3 at the "Teatro Carlo Goldon" in Venice. The next performance will take place on May 5, St. Lazar Island. On May 7, at the invitation of the patriarchal delegation of Western Europe of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the quartet will perform at the famous Santa Maria delle Grazie church in Milan.
