Vag  Papian to conduct Verdi's "La Traviata" on June 21
On June 21, at 7:00 p.m., one of Verdi's masterpieces, the three-act opera "La Traviata", which has not left the stages of opera houses since its staging, will be performed at the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet. led by conductor, and pianist Vag Papian.

The Armenian premiere of the opera took place in 1936 on the stage of A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet  (conductor: M. Tavrizyan, director: L. Kalantar), then it was staged in 1948 (director: S. Charekyan, director: I. Volchek), 1958 (conductor: S. Charekyan, director: G. Melkumyan) and 2000 (conductor: O. Duryan, director: G. Grigoryan).
