Vahram Dumanyan received opera singer Barsegh Tumanyan
RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan received RA People's Artist, opera singer Barsegh Tumanyan. Deputy Minister Ara Khzmalyan was also present at the meeting.
During the meeting, Barsegh Tumanyan presented his ideas and observations on the existing problems in the field of culture. In particular, he referred to the problems related to opera, expressed his readiness to cooperate with state initiatives and events related to the development of opera.
Minister Vahram Dumanyan mentioned that the task of making internationally recognized artists with extensive experience in international cooperation a part of the state cultural policy is one of the priorities of the ministry. One of the motivations for inviting Durgaryan to Yerevan was to appoint him acting director of the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Ballet Theater.
The Minister emphasized that the task of maestro Karen Durgaryan was to unite not only the creative potential of the theater but also to ensure the maximum participation of Armenian artists outside the theater in the processes ensuring the progress of opera and ballet.
