The Winners of the Mansurian International Composition Competition are Announced
The results of the Fourth Mansurian International Competition have been announced.
At the gala concert on June 12, the works of the six finalists were performed for the first time by the Assonance. Ensemble. Following the performances, the jury announced the winners.
The First Prize was awarded to Erika Markosyan of Armenia. Nikodem Kluczyński of Poland took Second Prize, while Dominik Radon, also from Poland, won Third Prize. The Special Prize was awarded to Daniela Nocentini from Italy.
This year, the competition brought together 17 composers from 13 countries, who presented new works inspired by Armenian poetry and contemporary musical thought.
Six composers from Armenia, Japan, Italy, India, and Poland advanced to the final round. Their compositions were evaluated by an esteemed international jury comprising representatives from Belgium, Japan, Armenia, Germany, and other countries.
The competition aims to foster the development of contemporary composition, promote Armenian poetry, support contemporary composers, and strengthen opportunities for international cultural cooperation.
