With Song and Love" choir festival held in Syunik
With the support of the RA Ministry of ESCS and the initiative of the "Komitas Festival" NGO, the "With Song and Love" choir festival was held in the Syunik region on May 5-11. The 12 choirs of Sisian, Goris, Kapan, Kajaran, Meghri, Khndzoresk, and Shinuhair participated in the festival. The "Little Singers of Armenia" choir was the honored guest of the festival.
The goal of the "With Song and Love" festival is to develop children's and youth choir art in the Syunik region, to promote the creation of new choirs, and to improve the professional skills of choirs.
A solo concert of the "Little Singers of Armenia" choir took place in the Vahagn Stamboltsyan organ hall of the Kapan State College of Art, and then in the hall of the Kajaran Copper-Molybdenum Combine's Palace of Culture. The main concert of the choir festival was held in the Vahagn Stamboltsyan organ hall with the participation of 12 Syunik choirs.
