Closing concert of the 16th Yerevan International Music Festival
The final concert of the 16th Yerevan International Music Festival was held on October 30 at the Aram Khachatryan concert hall with the support of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports.
Antonin Dvorak's Requiem was performed during the final concert of the 16th Yerevan International Music Festival.
The guest soloists of "Requiem" are famous Armenian soprano Anna Aglatova, Alina Chertash (Russia, mezzo-soprano), Tigran Melkonyan (Armenia, tenor), Jan Martinik (Czech Republic, bass). The National Academic Choir of Armenia (artistic director and chief conductor: Hovhannes Tchekijian) also participated in the concert. The concert was led by Eduard Topchjan, artistic director and chief conductor of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia.
The opening of the 16th Yerevan International Music Festival took place on September 12. This year's artistic directors of the festival are Eduard Topchyan and Harold Clarkson.
