A concert of the Yerevan Youth Orchestra dedicated to Armenia’s Independence Day
A concert of the Yerevan Youth Orchestra dedicated to Armenia’s Independence Day was held at the Rustaveli State Theater in Tbilisi. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan attended the event.
The orchestra is one of the key initiatives in Yerevan’s cultural life, founded by the Yerevan Municipality and consistently enjoys the full support of the city.
Maestro Eduard Topchyan played a key role in the founding and formation of the orchestra. Nowadays, the orchestra continues to develop and present Yerevan’s cultural values on international stages.
Under the leadership of Maestro Sergey Smbatyan, the orchestra successfully represented Armenia and Yerevan at the Berlin Concert Hall “Konzerthaus” during the “Young European Classics” festival. On September 22, the talented young musicians performed in Tbilisi.
