11 young Armenian musicians win at "Nouvelles Etoiles"

The young Armenian musicians performed brilliantly at the "Nouvelles Etoiles" international online competition held in Paris recently and won numerous awards.
Alex Grigoryan (teacher: Tiruhi Sargsyan), a young cellist and a student of the Stepan Jrbashyan Music School in Yerevan, won the first and two special awards. He is a member of the "Start" talent development program (artistic director: Armen Babakhanyan).
Young pianist Hayk Julhakyan, a student of the G․ Budaghyan Music School (teacher: Isabella Paronyan) took the first place. Student of Yeghegnadzor Music School, young pianist Emmy Nazaryan (teacher: Marine Manukyan) and student of P. Tchaikovsky music school Arman Zakoyan (teacher: Susanna Arakelyan) are the second.
Astghik Asryan, student of the piano department of the Stepan Jrbashyan Music School (teacher: Susanna Arakelyan), student P. Tchaikovsky music school Vana Istanbulyan (teacher: Susanna Arakelyan) and Victoria Vardazaryan took the third honorable place. Young pianists Nazeli Sayadyan and David Danielyan are the sixth. Among the winners is also Ashot Mkhitaryan representing Kazakhstan, who also took the first prize.
Armenian teenagers also won prizes in the category of violinists: Mane Hovhannisyan took the second place, and Igor Grigoryan came sixth.
Young people aged 3-16 in 5 age categories participated in the competition in different nominations.
