Alexandr Iradyan was born on July 9, 1990 in Yerevan, Armenia. He finished the School of Voice Protection (2005) and Yerevan Specialized Secondary Music School Named After Tchaykovsky (2007, piano department). He graduated from the Yerevan State Conservatory (composition faculty) with prof. Stepan Rostomyan. In the age of 16 his first and successful step was performance of his piano concerto with Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2010 in Ekaterinburg (Russia) Alexandr Iradyan was awarded a Grand-prix of Piano International Competition. The same year he has created and presented a "Following imagination" (visualization of music with light and screening effects) show. In 2011 for his Symphony No.2 "Six answers" Alexandr was awarded a First Prize of Aram Khachaturian International Competition. In 2012 Iradyan has created the biggest orchestral score based on architectural proportions of the building "Notre Dame symphony". In 2013 he had tremendous success premiering of "Memos of a suicide" musical poem with Armenian Philharmonic Orchestra brass section. In 2014 Alexandr founded CCR (Center of Conventional Reality) project with producer Anush Kocharyan and director Samuel Tadevosyan. In summer 2014 the "CCR" project presented a premier of Iradyan's "Memos of a suicide" ballet alternative psychodrama on the stage of National Opera and Ballet Theatre of Armenia. Nowadays this ballet is included in the repertory of the theatre. In April 2015 Iradyan he received high praise from the audience after the premiere of "DNA15-15" dedicated to the 100 anniversary of Armenian Genocide with a National Orchestra of Belgium, conducted by George Pehlivanian at "Palais de BOZAR" In Brussels. Besides "DNA15-15" two new arrangements of Komitas made by Iradyan were performed by world famous violinist Maxim Vengerov and cellist Mischa Maiski. In October 2015 Iradyan’s new piece "Mr. T: The story of a Comic" was performed by RTV Symphony Orchestra of Slovenia conducted by George Pehlivanian. As a composer and pianist Iradyan has represented Armenia in more than 15 countries. His music was performed in UK, Russia, France, Belgium, Armenia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Georgia, USA etc. He conducted and cooperated with National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia, Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Opera and Ballet theater Orchestra, Komische Oper Berlin, Magdeburgische Philharmonie, Bochumer Symphoniker, Staats theater Cottbus, Brandenburger Symphoniker, Neubrandenburger Symphoniker, Hochschul orchester der UdK, Kammerorchester Prenzlau Orchestras. 2016-2018 Alexandr studied at Berlin University of Arts at the International Conducting Academy under the guidance of Prof. Steven Sloane. Alexandr Iradyan has worked with composers Peter Adriaansz, Seng Ah Oh, Stefan Wirt, performers Yelena Vardazaryan, Vardan Gasparyan, Armen-Levon Manaseryan, "Pre-Art" ensemble, Bars Media Documentary Film Productions, DEEM Communications Production, APO, BPO, Florida International University Youth Orchestra. Worked with conductors Ruben Asatryan, Eduard Topchjian, Rashid Nigamatullin, Grzegorz Nowak and others. Now Alexander Iradyan lives in Berlin. He is principal conductor of AGBU String Orchestra (Brussels), teaches at Berlin Art Academy.
