Biography

Was born on 22 August 1992. From 2001-2009 he studied in Yerevan musical school named after S. Jrbashyan in Valery Antonyan's cello class. He was awarded the 3rd prize of the republican contest festival after E. Khachaturyan (2003), the titles of laureate of the first republican contest-festival «Camerton» (2004), the first republican contest festival named after A. Spendiaryan (2005) and second (2007) contest-festival. In the 7th republican contest for young violinists and violoncellists named after Avet Gabrielyan and Sargis Aslamazyan he took 3rd prize and the special prize «The most musical participant» (2007), in the International contest-festival «Renaissance» for the young musicians dedicated to the 140 year anniversary of Komitas he took 1st prize and a title of laureate (2009).

From 2009-2015 he studied at Yerevan State Conservatory named after Komitas in the cello class of Medea Abrahamyan. In 2012 he was awarded the title of laureate in the nomination "Chamber Ensemble" in the «3rd Classics in the Streets» international contest festival, which took place in Switzerland. In 2013 in the performing art of Chamber Music ensembles 2nd republican competition, which was dedicated to 90-year of Karen Kostanyan, he took 2nd prize. In the same year in the «Renaissance» 5th international contest-festival of musician-performers, again in «Chamber ensemble» nomination he was awarded 1st prize. In 2013 Michael Navasardyan was awarded The prize of the president of RA in «Instrumental Performance» nomination.
