Biography

Soprano Siranush Gasparyan graduated from the classical vocal and piano departments of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory in 2002. Then she continued her postgraduate studies in vocal with prof.  Elena Vardanyan. She received masterclasses at the Grace Bumbry Vocal Academy in Berlin (2011-2014). She received masterclasses from RA People's Artist, opera singer Barseg Tumanyan.

Siranush Gasparyan was awarded the special prize of the  ARD Competition in Munich (Barenreiter urtext Preis International ARDmuzikwetbeverb). In 2012, she performed Turandot with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra at the Armenian premiere of Puccini's opera "Turandot". In 2016, she played the role of "Tosca" at the premiere of Puccini's opera of the same name at  A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet.  Siranush Gasparyan has been a guest singer at the Sochi Chamber Philharmonic since 2015.

During her musical career, she had concerts in Armenia and abroad with symphony chamber orchestras and instrumental ensembles. She has participated in a number of local and international festivals, and had solo concerts in Germany, Spain, Russia, and elsewhere. In 2014 she released her first album.
