After the draft amendments and additions to the Law "On the Anthem of the Republic of Armenia" are adopted, the RA anthem will also be played in preschool, primary, and secondary vocational educational institutions.
The current law stipulates that the anthem must be played in schools and universities. The proposed amendment expands the scope to include preschool, vocational, and secondary vocational institutions. Minister of Education, Science, and Higher Education Zhanna Andreasyan announced this during the second reading of the draft amendments and additions to the Law "On the Anthem of the Republic of Armenia" in the National Assembly, presenting the government's positive position as an associated rapporteur.
"After the adoption of the law, it is also planned to clarify the procedures for its implementation through relevant sub-legislative regulations," the minister noted.
According to her, appropriate versions of recordings of the anthem performance will be available for use in cases prescribed by law.
