"Old and New Armenia"։ Unique concert after 9 years of absence
Armenian National Music and “Art of Duo” present a unique concert. After more than 9 years of absence Belgian based "Art of Duo" will perform in the homeland and present a new CD entitled "Old and New Armenia". The concert will take place on 19 July at 7:30 p.m. at the Komitas National Centre of Chamber Music. Members of the duo are violinist Hrayr Karapetyan and pianist Hasmik Manukyan.
The program includes works by Komitas, A. Khachaturian, A. Babajanian, E. Baghdasaryan, T. Mansurian, H. Dellalian, V. Sharafyan and S. Zakarian. The concert is dedicated to the memory of composer and pianist Suren Zakarian.
All proceeds from the concert will be donated to the "Karapetyan Brothers Foundation" to support young talented musicians.
