International tour of State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia concludes in December
Within the framework of the jubilee events dedicated to Charles Aznavour's 100th anniversary, the international concert tour of the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia, financed by the Ministry of ESCS of the Republic of Armenia, started in September.

Before the final tour, Deputy Minister Daniel Danielyan followed the orchestra’s rehearsals and inquired about the jubilee concert program and other creative and work details. The State Philharmonia of Armenia is implementing the jubilee program. Director of the State Philharmonic of Armenia Artyom Naghdyan presented the Deputy Minister with detailed information on the final stage of the program.

The concert program includes an arrangement of famous chansonnier songs for a large jazz orchestra and soloists. Gor Sujyan and Inga Arshakyan are involved in the concert series with their musical groups. The orchestra and soloists will also perform Komitas’s works.

The Deputy Minister noted that the RA Ministry of ESCS has purchased equipment and instruments worth 22 million AMD for the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia and, according to him, this jubilee program dedicated to Aznavour is a very good opportunity to play these instruments during a concert tour.

The jubilee program has already been implemented in Brussels, Budapest, Luxembourg, and Ethiopia. The final concerts will start in early December and will be held in Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and then in Latvia.
