The world premiere of Vache Sharafyan's "Bride of desert" suite to be held in Canada
The world premiere of Vache Sharafyan's "Bride of desert" Suite from eponymous ballet with Ontario Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of conductor, artistic director and principal conductor of Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra Eduard Topchjan will be held on April 23 at Regent Theater Oshawa. The concert will be dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
The libretto of the ballet is based on poems by Sona Van. Besides, the concert features Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 5 and Schubert's Symphony No.6. The soloist for the concert is pianist Sheng Cai.
