Russia's Public TV to broadcast a documentary about Charles Aznavour
A unique biographical film about the greatest singer of the 20th century will be broadcast on Russian public TV on September 10 at 1։20 a.m. In 2018, a few months before his death, Charles Aznavour shared with his friend, filmmaker Marc di Domenico, an invaluable treasure - hours of video footage, which later formed the basis of this documentary film.
These videos, filmed by Aznavour, starting in 1948, when Aznavour was still an unknown young musician, until 1982 when he became one of the most recognized performers on the planet. His first movie camera was a gift from Edith Piaf: Aznavour used to take it during all his tours and travels for more than three decades.
