On the occasion of Komitas's birthday, a memorial service is held in Pantheon
On September 26, on the birthday of Komitas, Daniel Danielyan, the deputy minister of the RA ESCS, a group of artists visited the Pantheon, paid tribute, and laid flowers on the grave of the great musician. On the occasion of the 154th birthday of Komitas, a memorial service was held.
At the end of the ceremony, the National Academic Choir of Armenia, under the leadership of artistic director and chief conductor Hovhannes Chekijian, performed Komitas' composition "El, el".
Speaking about the creative heritage and image of Komitas, Daniel Danielyan, emphasized that Komitas is the embodiment of the genetic code of the Armenian nation, a believer in the collective strength of the Armenian people, the advice to live and create, and the unbreakable will.
The bell of the Komitas Museum-Institute was rung on the occasion of the 154th anniversary of the Reverend.
