Lusine Sahakyan appointed acting director of Komitas Museum-Institute
On February 5, the Republic of Armenia's Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports announced a competition for the position of acting director at the Komitas Museum-Institute. Applications were accepted.
Following the competition, the commission approved the candidacy of Lusine Sahakyan, a musicologist, Komitas expert, candidate of fine arts, head of the Department of Music History of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, and associate professor, for the position of temporary acting director of the Komitas Museum-Institute.
On March 4, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Culture Alfred Kocharyan introduced Lusine Sahakyan, the temporary acting director, to the Komitas Museum-Institute staff.
Alfred Kocharyan welcomed everyone present and stated that the competition commission had accepted Lusine Sahakyan's candidature to ensure the utmost transparency in selecting the interim acting director.
