Inter-museum programs between Komitas and Stepan Zoryan museums
On the initiative of Armenian National Music, two inter-museum programs were implemented between Komitas Museum-Institute and Vanadzor S. Zoryan House-Museum on September 4. Representatives of the Komitas Museum Astghik Martirosyan and Ani Musheghyan were hosted at the Zoryan museum in Vanadzor where choir “Biayna” (artistic director: Sergey Harutyunyan) and the Tavrizyan art college alumni Ani Tiratsuyan welcomed them. First, the employees of the Komitas Museum presented to the young visitors the educational program “Komitas in artworks”, where the children got acquainted with the works of artists and sculptors P. Terlemezyan, Y. Tadevosyan, M. Saryan, Y. Kochar, A. Harutyunyan, as well as works of today’s artists.
The next part of the program entitled "Imagine your Komitas" took place in the big and grassy yard of the museum. Under the influence of Komitas' music, the participants drew Komitas with their own imagination.
Then, within the meeting intended for adults, speakers Astghik Martirosyan and Ani Musheghyan presented the activity of the Komitas Museum-Institute. The meeting was accompanied by the presentation of the Museum-Institute publications.
ANM is convinced that such collaborations contribute to the mutually active work and development of museums.
