David Balasanyan wins 12th Piano Fidelio Composition Competition
Composer David Balasanyan won first prize in the Minimalist / Experimental / New Age category of the 12th Piano Fidelio Composition Competition. According to the composer, 39 composers from 17 countries took part in the competition, presenting 58 works. David Balasanyan's “Circular'' was recorded in 2020 at the Komitas Museum-Institute within the ANM Artist project.
In 2019, D. Balasanyan won the second and third prizes in the jazz and atonal music nominations of the same competition.
