"Khaghikner": a new piece by Tigran Mansurian

Tigran Mansurian, a People's Artist of Armenia and composer, has created a choral work for children and youth titled "Khaghikner" at the initiative and special request of the Yerevan Municipality. This piece incorporates folk prayers and medieval hymns.

Maestro's "Folk" composition will be performed for the first time during the closing concert of the 16th Competition Festival of Music and Art Schools organized by the Yerevan Municipality, which is scheduled for June 4 at the "Aram Khachaturian" concert hall.
