music festival dedicated to Sayat-Nova was held in Haghpat
On June 17-18, a music festival dedicated to Sayat-Nova was held in Haghpat, Lori region. It was implemented with the support of the RA Ministry of Education and Culture.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ara Khzmalyan, deputy minister of the RA ESCS, Hovhannes Avetisyan, deputy governor of Lori, and many guests and tourists.
Ara Khzmalyan highlighted the importance of holding such events in regions during the ceremony. The deputy minister expressed confidence that the festival will become traditional, including other communities yearly, so why not include participants from neighboring Georgia.
2 concerts of folk and rock groups were held within the project.
